BIOGRAPHY
“Comics is an art, a business, and a pedagogy.”
Dr Goh promotes Comic and Manga Pedagogy in Singapore schools. He is also popular for his Doby comic series 小白龙.
He started his full-time comic business in 2005, and worked with Chinese language teachers to inspire students to learn through the comic genre. He also conducts Manga Pedagogy courses for Ministry of Education teachers at the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language.
In 2022, he was supported by the Speak Mandarin Campaign to conduct 50 workshops in schools to promote comics. His passion include: 1. To enable educators and students to benefit from the educational value of comics; and 2. To enable local comic artists to develop their passion into a business or sustainable livelihoods.
