BIOGRAPHY
“Want us to draw for you? Email us at ohayo@collateralds.com”
Collateral Damage Studios (CDS for short) started as a group of art enthusiasts who debuted in the Singapore illustration scene in 2007. Inspired by pop culture, CDS aims to promote local creative talents, produce high quality illustrations, and have plenty of fun at the same time. Their company overview as well as active staff roster can be found in greater details over at their website.
Over the years, while CDS have actively engaged with international and local doujin communities, they are now operating as a fully-fledged independent studio that works closely with companies and agencies to create concept art, branding visuals and of course, comics.
One of their most notable projects was the creation of mascot character Internet Explorer-tan: Aizawa Inori, which eventually caught the positive attention of the Microsoft team and their collaborative assistance to further develop the project.
For comics, CDS had done projects for various prolific organisations and companies, such as CCCS (Competition & Consumer Commission Singapore) , Shilla Duty Free, CS Comics, Tokyopop, Anime Expo, and many more.
