CHAO

BIOGRAPHY

Chao is a video producer, media educator and Instagram cartoonist. He began drawing cartoons when he was young and during his teens, he briefly joined Lianhe Zaobao's Comics Fastfood, where he frequently contributed cartoons to Zaobao's Sunday comic section.

After disappearing from the local comic scene for 15 years, he reemerged in 2019 with an Instagram account called “Doodles in a Box”. He recently illustrated his first children's book, “Sing a Song of Hawker Food”, co-written by Lianne Ong and Janice Khoo.
