BIOGRAPHY

Andie Tong is a Malaysian-born professional comic book artist who migrated to Australia at a young age, and then moved to London in 2005. In 2012, he journeyed back to Asia and currently resides in Singapore with his wife and two children. His past comic book experience include big titles such as Green Lantern Legacy, Spectacular Spider-Man UK, Star Wars, The Batman Strikes!, Wheel of Time comic series, The First Law: The Blade Itself comic series, and the Tron: Betrayal graphic novel - a prequel comic to the movie, Tron: Legacy, as well as the official game tie-in comic for Plants vs. Zombies video game.

Since 2005, Andie has also worked with companies including Disney, Lucasarts, Marvel, DC and Darkhorse publishing house. Besides comics, he has also done commercial work for DC, Nike, Mforma, Universal, CBS, Mattel, Hasbro and illustrations for Whitewolf’s fantasy gaming books.

In 2013, Andie began work on the three part series by Disney, The Zodiac Legacy, illustrated novels created by the late Stan Lee and written by Stuart Moore, based on the Chinese zodiac; Book two earning NewYork Times Best seller achievement in 2016. In 2017, Andie completed a 4 issue mini series for Tekken comics published by Titan Publishing in partnership with Bandai Namco. This was to commemorate the launch of Tekken 7 fighting video game to the gaming platforms. Andie has also illustrated children's books for HarperCollins for more then 10 years and recently worked on another Stan Lee’s project titled Backchannel for Webtoon.
